A modular expansion

This project is located in an old meat processing facility in Rome, Italy.  Designed while studying urban design in Rome, this project was an exercise in using a square module to designate space. 

This area in Rome is known as the "città dell'altra economia", in English it is the "City of the Alternative Economy". The space serves a variety of functions and the square module provides order while allowing for great amounts of flexibility.
