Four Square Apartments 

Affordability in Allapattah, Miami, Florida

This project was assigned in a Real Estate Development course. Architecture Students worked with Real Estate Students to develop a proposal for the Allapattah neighborhood of Miami. 

Encouraged by the efficient, "Four Square" apartment building designs, this plan fits 4 units on each floor. The layout was designed for the target market of our development. We targeted renters and working families. The living/dining spaces have direct access to window garden boxes which enliven the street realm as well as the private realm. 

The design was praised by R. John Anderson for fitting enjoyable space into a tight envelope and even tighter financial constraints.
